What is Muay Thai?

Muay Thai or Thai Boxing is the official sport of Thailand. It is called the art of 8 limbs because 2 types of strikes can come from each extremity. Punches and elbows come from the arms while kicks and knees come from the legs. It is a beautiful martial art when trained correctly.

What makes Pure Muay Thai and Fitness Club unique?

We focus on details. Our goal is to make sure each member of the club is well versed in the art from the way you stand and move to the way you throw a punch or knee.  Members get a great workout while also learning the art and building self confidence.

Do I have to be in shape to start training?

Absolutely not! This is the setting where you get in shape. It's a lot more exciting than running on a treadmill or riding a stationary bike. It's a great atmosphere where everyone motivates each other to reach for their fitness goals.

What can you expect?

At your first session you will learn basic stance, footwork, and strikes. From there you will be progressed based on your abilities. No one is asked to do anything they are physically unable to do.

What is the all level class?

All levels class is appropriate for first timers to advanced. Each member is instructed based on their skill level.

What is Little Tigers Muay Thai?

Little Tigers Muay Thai is our kids/young teens class which is appropriate for children from 5-14 years old. Some children younger or older may be appropriate for this class.

Can I try the technical class?

Yes. This class is open to all levels. We structure every class to accommodate everyone. 

Do I have to own equipment?

We provide equipment to borrow. We also sell all the equipment you would need.

Can I try a class to see if I like it?

Yes! We  offer a free class. If you are a beginner, the fundamental class on Tuesday or Saturday is  right for you. If you have previous experience, any class  with the exception of sparring is right for you.

How much does training cost?

The cost of training is extremely reasonable. Please contact us for details to discuss pricing so we can make training affordable for you.

Is there a belt system/ rankings?

The art of Muay Thai has never had a belt system or a ranking system.
